Having spent fifteen years with Chubb/UTC, Mark joined EA-RS Fire Engineering as Service Director in 2013. Since then Mark has played an important role at EA-RS Fire Engineering Ltd and Circum Fire Engineering Ltd and has most recently played a vital role within EA-RS Group . Mark is an instrumental leader as Group Chief Operating Officer, expertly guiding all Business Units and the Central Service team through an on-going expansion programme and numerous acquisitions.

Derek qualified as a chartered accountant (ICAS) in 1989 and has performed a wide variety of roles in audit, corporate finance, private equity and company financial management. He previously acted as Non-Executive Director and was appointed CFO in January 2021.

John started his career as an apprentice engineer and has held a number of positions within the fire industry in both SMEs and multinational businesses. John was the founder and Managing Director of Firesec Compliance for 11 years before joining EA-RS Group as Chief Information Officer. John is responsible for driving the digital strategy of the business to facilitate our brands to streamline their processes, improve efficiency and provide unparalleled customer service.

David has worked in the fire and security industry his entire working life. Starting out as an engineer and progressing to installation management, David then moved into the sales arena where he created an in-house residential department, before moving into the major projects arena working on NHS sites, Government projects, new builds etc. David is responsible for implementing sales fundamentals across EA-RS and further developing client relationships to provide a one solution offering.

Lee has spent the last 7 years responsible for a service delivery team of 400+ team members dedicated to supporting customers.

Lee will be overseeing a number of business units across EA-RS Group, providing support and direction to each business to ensure combined excellence in customer delivery. Lee will be strategizing with the senior leadership team to continually evolve each business and implement new initiatives, making us more agile and flexible to support our customer’s needs.

Service Operations Director

James joined the fire industry in 2005 with Protec Fire Detection PLC, progressing through various positions from a Service Engineer, through to Service Director for Trinity Fire & Security in 2018, taking the lead on the Service Department and ultimately progressing to the position of Board Director of Service; accountable for a team of more than 250 people with revenues exceeding £20M per annum. James has an extensive knowledge of service operations and strives to deliver and overachieve his clients’ expectations.  He has a passion for people and is a strong believer in taking care of his team.

Carl went on to join Trinity Fire & Security in 2015 as National Operations Director and was part of their Senior Leadership Team.  Carl is experienced in people management, process, and profit enhancement.

Working within the Fire Detection and Protection industry for over 30 years, Murray has been responsible for all turnkey operations from estimating, sales, and design, right through to project completion and ongoing maintenance of systems within U.K. based and multi-national organisations.

Supported what was BFPSA, and now the FIA and a Member of the Standing Panel of Experts at the BRE/LPCB for Fire Detection and Gaseous Extinguishing Systems.

Joshua Wheal

Joshua has gained extensive experience in corporate finance/M&A, previously working for Dragons Den’s James Caan, starting on the sell-side, and transitioning into buy-side. After introducing Rockpool to the EA-RS Group, Josh now supports the team on all deals, from M&A through to integration and overall corporate strategy.

Josh also works closely with the FIA on Industry strategy, most recently developing the Igneo market platform which the FIA acquired in January 2022.
